![]() ![]() (So to test your suggestion I've just tried to do this with Photo Booth. (Yes, if you click on the plus sign in the blue circle up on the left, a list appears with the camera icon next to Photo, but it only allows you to select a picture from your files.)Īlso, I recall doing this on a whim - holding up that object, clicking on the camera icon and grabbing the image - I wouldn't horse around with going to photo booth, then having to move it into EN. I don't see that icon in today's version of notes in EN. maybe I am losing some memory and maybe you are both right about how I got this picture into a note 10 years.īut here's the deal - There use to be a camera icon included in the tool bar of a note which gave the option of taking a photo or importing. I just want to update that note with a current photo of that item and not have to spend the bulk of my morning searching for how to do this. I have a note from 2012 with a photo of an object I had on my desk that I took while simply holding it up to the camera on my computer when I was using the desktop version of EN. I'm not at all impressed with the 7,883 posts that come up when I put "where is the camera icon to take a picture from the computer in notes?" in the help forum that Evernote uses for support. ![]() Been with EN for over a decade, but it is defeating it's very purpose in my life because it's now very cumbersome and daunting to simply get a short answer about a basic question. Can someone please tell me if it's still possible to capture an image in a note in the web version, or desktop version, using the camera on the computer when creating a note?Įvery day I wake up with plans to use Evernote to be "more productive, more organized" and every day I have to spend SO MUCH TIME finding out how to do something I used to be able to do such as the action above.
